Amy's Pastry Inc at 2208 West Beverly Boulevard, Montebello, California.

I will Never step another foot into this bakery again.My family has be coming here for years, generation after generation. This day I purchased over $100 in pastry goods for my Birthday. One item we were not happy with were the Macaroons.

1. First we bit into one and it was stale and a bit hard.
2. The receipt said 5 pieces and there were only 4 in the box.
3. They manager said they coast $1.90 each if purchased separately. Do the math...?? $1.90 × 4 = $7.60
4. For a box of 4 they charged me $15. Go figure????

I dont mind paying for good food but obviously there was a problem. We've also Never taken any back!!
This time I felt there was a problem with the product. Four days after purchased I took them back, all 4 macaroons in their white little box. All I wanted was a new box.
The manager that handled the situation was Horrible!!!!!! She had No clue how to give good customer service. She said I was a day too late to return this product. Amazing!!!! Over $15.00 She arrguded with me while a line formed behind me to check out. I had to take charge and excuse myself from the line so the other customers can be checked out by someone else.
I also asked her to give my phone number to her manager so I can discuss the situation with him. But obviously I received No phone call. It's sad to say that I have spoken to my family and friends and none of them will be purchasing pastries from Amy's again and She(manager) was ok with that, so sad!
